The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system is implemented by the CBSE with an aim to achieve holistic development of students. It refers to a mode of evaluation and assessment of students at the school level and it is spread over the Entire period of an academic session. The basic objective of this system is to make teaching and learning a learner-centered activity that enables to develop child’s individual skills, interests. Attitudes and motivations at the higher levels. The features of this system include regularity in assessment. Frequency in conducting it and arranging the assessment if needed, application of corrective measures and collection of feedback from teachers and students. It pertains to a ‘process of learning and applying what has been learned, and assessment of what has been taught’.
